Focus Group: People new to handling firearms or need a refresher course on handling firearms safely.

Parts and Functions of Firearm 

Shooting Basics

Live Fire Practice

Supplies Provided by Instructor: targets, ammunition, safety glasses, ear protection, and a firearm will be provided use during class.

(Bring your personal firearm and protection equipment if you have available)

Focus Group: Parents wanting to introduce or refresh their child to safe handling of firearms. Parent must remain with child for entire class.

Shooting Basics

Live Fire Practice

Supplies Provided by Instructor: targets, ammunition, safety glasses, ear protection, and a firearm will be provided use during class.

DEFENSIVE PISTOL 1

Duration: 120 min

$125/person

Focus Group: People who have completed an Introduction to Firearm Safety instruction class.

Class Content:

Fundamentals of Firearm and Range Safety

Drawing from concealment (4-count Draw Method)

Identifying and Managing Malfunctions 

Live Fire Practice

Supplies the Trainee Needs to Bring:

Ear and Eye Protection

Carry Holster

Carry Firearm

Ammunition (200 rounds minimum)

Dress appropriately for weather

 (Targets provided by instructor)

DEFENSIVE PISTOL 2

Duration: 120 min

$125/person

Focus Group:  People who have completed a Defensive Pistol 1 instruction class.

Class Content:  

Fundamentals of Firearm and Range Safety

Drawing from concealment (4-count Draw Method)

Identifying and Managing Malfunctions 

Review of Cover and Concealment

Live Fire Practice

Managing Reloads

Shooting while moving

Supplies the Trainee Needs to Bring:

Ear and Eye Protection

Carry Holster

Carry Firearm

Ammunition (200 rounds minimum)

Dress appropriately for weather
